Description
My artworks about social causes are made with long-lasting edible mediums and have accompanying written materials to inform the public and raise awareness. These sculptures and 3-D paintings have been displayed in multiple East Coast galleries and in public venues ranging from The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in LA to the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Manhattan to the New England Botanic Gardens.

Additional Details Linda Khachadurian will have a solo show of her edible artwork on view at the Karen Aqua Gallery in Cambridge from January 11 - March 7, 2022. The exhibition, entitled The Charitable Confectioner Presents, is based upon her series for Cambridge Community Television Channel 9, which merges her passions for social causes and edible art. Each artwork will represent a different social cause that has been addressed on the show, and will have accompanying informational materials hanging beside it. The gallery is open to the public on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, but one must reserve an appointment by e-mailing [email protected] .
16. April 28-June 10, 2022: Haute Cuisine: The Art of Food (group show) @ gallery inside the Brattle House/Harvard Square (42 Brattle Street). Opening reception on April 28 from 5:30-7:30. I'll be doing a sugar art blowtorch demo at 6pm!
17. July 16, 2022 (2-5pm): Ben & Jerry's Art + Music Festival @ Arsenal Yards, Watertown. My artworks will be on display/for sale inside the store to protect them from the heat. Live musical performances will take place on the staging area outside.

I'll be making a thematic isomalt sculpture that examines the relationship between orchids and pollinators, and doing a sugar art demo during the opening weekend event on Feb. 12th from 11:30 - 12:30 pm in the Southeast Link, which will be included in cost of admission to the exhibition.
